BROOKS COUNTY, Ga. – Authorities arrested an 18-year-old male after he led Georgia State Patrol troopers on a chase reaching speeds of up to approximately 152 miles per hour. Russell Walker faces charges of speeding, felony fleeing, reckless driving, failing to maintain lane, and failing to signal when turning or changing lanes.

Troopers spotted a white BMW speeding on Georgia 133 near mile marker four at 9:50 PM on Monday, June 3, 2024, and attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. Walker sped up, but a trooper remained close behind the BMW.

After approaching Pauline Church Road, Walker tried to turn right at the intersection of Georgia 133 and Georgia 76; however, he lost control and collided with a concrete gore.
