CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. – On September 27, 2023, law enforcement responded to a sexual assault at Kroger, Hwy 92 in Acworth. Upon arrival, the juvenile male victim explained that a man had trapped him inside a restroom stall and forced him to engage in sexual contact.
The officer met with the victim, who “was very upset, crying, and visibly shaking,” in a back room. He said his parents were en route to the scene and described his attacker as “a white male, older, with gray/brown hair, and a bald spot on the top of his head.”
The officer relayed the description of the suspect and his clothing, “a red flannel shirt, khaki pants, black shoes, with glasses and no facial hair,” to responding officers and others in the area. When the victim’s parents arrived, they were told they could exit the room during the interview if needed due to the disturbing details.
