[NARRATIVE #1 on June 27, 2023]
On June 27, 2023 at approximately 1834 hours, Sergeant Jordan Phillips was located at the address of [100 BLOCK] Parrish Road in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, Sgt. Phillips made contact with complainant [VICTIM #1].
[VICTIM #1], who was wearing a cast on her left arm, stated that her boyfriend, Harold Smith, who she had lived with for over a year, was beating on her at the Budget Inn Motel. [VICTIM #1] stated that Smith was choking and scratching her on her neck. Sgt. Phillips observed scratch mark to the neck and face of [VICTIM #1]. Sgt. Phillips asked [VICTIM #1] what happened to her arm that had the cast on it.
[VICTIM #1] told Sgt. Phillips that Smith hit her with a stick, breaking the bone in her arm. [VICTIM #1] stated that the breaking of her arm happened a few weeks prior, but she did not report it until this date. Investigator Elijah
