Man posed as delivery driver before killing exs new boyfriend at Cobb apartment police say

COBB COUNTY, Ga. – On Wednesday, January 3, 2024, a man allegedly shot and killed his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend after impersonating a delivery driver with a package to lure him out of his apartment. When the leasing office staff informed the victim, 40-year-old Kenneth Cunningham, II, that there was no package, he exited the office, where he was “violently shot five times” by suspect 33-year-old Donovan Carter, according to police.

Cunningham’s body “was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds outside the leasing office” of the Harlow Apartments near Cobb Parkway and Windy Hill Road. He was killed on his 40th birthday.
