On 01/21/2024 at 03:23 hours, I responded to [900 BLOCK] Lovvorn Road (River Pointe) in reference to shots fired.
Upon arrival, Ofc. Spruell and I approached building [REDACTED]. I observed several spent shell casings in front of building [REDACTED] on our approach. The spent casings led a path from the left side of the building to the right side. While continuing to look for more shell casings, a female, later identified as [VICTIM #1], walked outside, visibly distraught, and explained that she had bullet holes in her apartment window.
After investigation, it was determined that a red Hyundai Genesis (Ga Tag: [REDACTED]) had fired multiple shots at apartment [REDACTED] before fleeing the area. Ofc. Rosenfeld located the vehicle at Carrollton Crossings and its occupants were transported to the police department for futher investigation.
[VICTIM #1] and [VICTIM #2] were unsure of prosecution.
Lt. Taylor arrived shortly after, and the scene was turned over to him.
