On 6-11-23, I Sgt Jones responded to [3400 BLOCK] Houston Ave Apt [REDACTED] in refence to a person cut. Upon my arrival contact was made with [VICTIM #1]. Mr [VICTIM #1] stated that while he was at this location, his girlfriends stepfather Johnny Billingslea assaulted him.
He stated that Billingslea came home drunk and started arguments with everyone inside of the home. He said that he was only looking at Billingslea when he got his face. [VICTIM #1] stated that grabbed him by the neck and began chocking him. He said that Billingslea then pulled out a knife and asked him “you want some of this”.
Family members were able to break up the altercation but [VICTIM #1] did receive a small cut on hand from the knife that Billingslea had. Billingslea was very intoxicated at the time of my arrival. He was detained and transported to Bibb County LEC. The knife was collected and placed in the crime lab. [VICTIM #1] injury was non life-threatening.
